"Massachusetts takes on climate change"
UCLA Journal of Environmental Law & Policy 27.2 (Winter 2009): p295
This article is all about Massachusetts and what it's doing to solve the climate change crisis. It goes on about reducing our demand on carbon and other greenhouse gases. "Efforts to lower the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that contribute to climate change must focus on reducing our demand on carbon-intensive electricity generation and fuels, and on increasing our supply of renewable energy.
According to the article, Massachusetts is setting the standards for green technologies by deploying several alternative forms of energy, and even setting new, environmental laws as well. At least five new green laws were implemented by Governor Deval Patrick. Also, Massachusetts has also been participating with a number of different environmental groups, taking the necesarry small and large steps to improve the climate crisis.
